I created the series Lines of Earth, as a collection of paintings made with natural plant and earth dyes. The series began six years ago as a response to my understanding of deep time. At the time I was seeing this in geologic outcrops, such as in an angular unconformity, but it was telling an even deeper truth about the nature of time; that it is, in essence, nothing as we perceive it to be. Each work in this series has been made inspired by various geologic locations from around the world.
